AI algorithms will speed up the process of identifying hidden corruption risks that might be missed by traditional methods.
These capabilities have been made available to analysts through a collaboration with 12New.AI (Washington DC, USA), the developer of the AI-powered legal document analysis platform BestAgreement.AI.
The primary goal of this collaboration is not only to automate the process of identifying “harmful” provisions in legislative initiatives of the Ukrainian parliament but also to gradually improve AI algorithms through learning from real-life examples and expert feedback.
“We are pleased to start this collaboration, as the latest AI technologies open new horizons for effectively detecting corruption risks. We believe that through joint efforts, we can significantly enhance the transparency and efficiency of the legislative process in Ukraine,” said CHESNO leader Vita Dumanska.
This initiative is an important step towards creating a transparent and fair legislative environment in Ukraine, and the integration of modern technologies into anti-corruption monitoring processes could significantly accelerate this progress.
“We have been working with large corporations in the USA and Europe for over two years to address compliance and legal document analysis issues using AI. It’s gratifying to see one of the world’s first systematic applications of AI in the anti-corruption field by the CHESNO Movement. I’m glad that this happened in Ukraine. I hope for the continued active use of this solution and the spread of this innovative experience to other countries,” said Vitaliy Goncharuk, CEO and founder of 12New.AI (the developer of the BestAgreement.ai product).
CHESNO analysts are already using AI capabilities to identify risks in Ukrainian legislation. For example, analysts have identified several gaps in the area of environmental cleanup from industrial pollution.
